Summer is here and we are experiencing scorching heat from the sun applying sunscreen will always be part of my daily routine. Product Usage

Apply a generous amount to the skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Apply evenly to all exposed areas of the body and blend until fully absorbed. Reapply at least every 2 hours, immediately after towel drying.

Overall Thoughts:

 

I brought this sunscreen during our camping in Bataan and trip to Laiya Batangas and I must say that this product never failed me in sun protection. I am so impressed with the SPF and the other added active ingredients which make this product as sun protection and skincare in one. After applying before swimming if dries up easily and it feels light and minimal to non sticky feel. Not only that my skin feels protected its affordability is a huge plus. I bought this for Php 449.00 online and this will be always part of my routine. Overall I highly recommended this sunscreen.

REVIEW: Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel

 







Since this pandemic started (I know that you are all getting tired of this intro) many things have changed and we need to do our part to minimize the spread of the virus. One of the things that we must do is wearing face masks, masks and faceshield.

Facemask and shield combo causes heat, friction and a moist environment when combined with your breathing, sweating, or talking; unfortunately, it is a major cause of breakouts and now we commonly know as "maskne"

Few Tips to reduce "Maskne"

- Minimize the use of make up

- Washing your mask (A MUST)

- Rest your face - remove mask every 4 hours (make sure that you are on a safe place)

- Stay away from harsh skin care products and use skin care that has gentle ingredients.


Having that said, I am in the search of finding a great product that is affordable and effective. I stumbled on the Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel, and since I love their Rosewater Glow Mist I've decided to give this a try. I also think that this is quite unique because most of the soothing gel in the market is Aloe Vera. I got this for Php 259 and it holds 300mL of product.


Claims:

- With whitening beads for brighter skin.

- Keeps skin hydrated and moisturized throughout the day.

- Controls oil production and reduces the appearance of enlarged pores.

- Brightens and evens out skin tone.

- Made in South Korea.

Overall Thoughts:

After 2 months of religiously using Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel, I can definitely say that it works wonders to my skin. This soothing gel made my face brighter and I did not experience and breakouts upon using it (however if you have sensitive skin, I highly suggest to do a skin test). This product helped to remove the dark spots caused by maskne .

I use Luxe Organix Rosewater Soothing Gel on my nighttime skin care routine and if I am feeling extra, I also use this product on my morning skincaare. After application especially if you put a generous amount, I have this sticky feeling and eventually gone after couple of minutes. Also, unlike other skincare product, this soothing gel has a strong floral smell however since I love the smell of rosewater, I don't mind it. If you are sensitive to the smell of skincare products, take this as a consideration. This product also comes with a spatula which a huge game changer. Overall I love and highly recommend this product.

Review: Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen




As cliche as it sounds and I couldn’t agree more that SPF is an essential. We need protection from the harmful rays of the sun as it can have various damaging effects on our skin. Aside from our trusty skincare routine, we must also prioritize applying SPF on  the latter part of our routine.

UV exposure is one of the reasons that lead to premature aging. By wearing sunscreen every day, it will slow down the effects of aging on your skin, you will look youthful and radiant and believe me or not, your 40-year old self will thank you for this.  So I am on the search for the perfect sunscreen that is not only giving me protection but also lightweight and gives me a non greasy effect.

Good thing that I’ve found out about this Luxe Organix Aqua Daily Sunscreen. I bought this for Php 349.00 at Watsons and it holds 50ml of the product.

Claims:
This aqua rich, lightweight and water resistant sunscreen provides broad protection with SPF 50 PA+++ for UVA and UVB. Its quick absorbing and non greasy formulation makes it perfect for everyday use and even suitable for sensitive skin. Made with additional benefits of Aloe Vera extract to keep skin supple and hydrated throughout the day.

How to Use: Apply a generous amount on the face and body. Put sunscreen after moisturizer or before make up. Re-apply throughout the day for better protection from UVA and UVB rays especially outdoors.


Active Ingredients: Aloe Vera Centella Asiatica & Calendula extracts.


The packaging is so nice and sleek at the same time. The bottle is also light perfect for travel and it comes with a pump which I do prefer for me to be able to control how much product it will dispense.

The sunscreen itself has a subtle and fresh vibe in it. I didn’t smell any “chemicals” at all which is great.

Overall Thoughts:


I’ve been using this product for quite a while now and I must say that there is no sticky feeling and I must say that they are true to their word that it is non-greasy. One and a half to two pumps is already enough for your face and don’t forget your neck as well. It dries up easily just wait for a minute or two and it is completely absorbed by the skin. This sunscreen feels so smooth and lightweight on the face. I love how it makes my skin glowing and dewy after applying and even when wearing makeup. I like the natural effect and it leaves my skin very hydrated and moisturized  and a huge plus that you will score this amazing product at a very low price. Overall, I love and highly recommended this product.
